Intervention Office

Positive Behavior Support

At Westchester Center for Enriched Sciences, we have adopted a progressive discipline policy that emphasizes "positive behavior support." This means that, when students behave inappropriately, we help them develop strategies to improve their behavior in the future.  This is why our intervention room is staffed with a dean and a psychological social worker (PSW).
